Take Me to Church: Good Friday Church Service in Chicago

Sometimes I feel like I have become part of the Easter and Christmas crowd mainly because I don’t have a home church. Thus begins the scramble for finding a church for important days like today. Usually, funeral’s come with directions to the church. But, this event came as an open invitation, for some with a day off, and for others, news of the brunch special on Sunday for Easter.

2. Park Community Church

Time: 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm

Location: (North Campus) 1001 N. Crosby, Chicago, IL

Beliefs: Christian

3. Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church 

Time: 7:00 pm

Location: 331 W. George St., Chicago, IL

Beliefs: Christian

4. Grace Chicago Church 

Time: 7:00 pm

Location: Nettelhorst School, 3252 North Broadway, Chicago, IL

Beliefs: Christian

5.  United Protestant Church of Grayslake

Time: 7:30 pm

Location: 54 S. Whitney St., Grayslake, IL

Other Info: The service will include an eye witness account by one woman with an adult chorus.
