This year, Uber collaborated with investors to bring UberVENTURE from 11 am to 5 pm on Tuesday, June 23rd to allow users to sign-up to pitch their ideas to an investor during a 15 minute ride. Info: Learn from writers and professors about a variety of writing including screenwriting, fiction, and YA work. Other topics include finding a writing group, marketing and pitching your material, and breaking into magazine writing. This conference has two added bonuses. The first is that with registration, you can register for a Pitchfest appointment to pitch your piece of work. The second is that you can join up to 10 literary minds in a small session to learn from experiences writers. Small session topics include: legal issues, MFA programs, and self publishing.
