Get your Chirish festivities started early in the morning on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in Chicago at Daybreaker.
Daybreaker is a morning dance party and yoga movement that helps energize you once a month before work. Be part of this international movement and learn more about past Daybreaker Chicago events here.
The morning starts with a nice Vinyasa flow one-hour yoga session and then transitions into a two hour dance party complete with an MC and a DJ and special performances to go along with the theme. You can choose to do both the yoga and the dance party or just one activity.
You’ll want to deck out in green from head to toe. Some people bring their co-workers to do this together before work and others bring their friends or go solo.
Tips For Your First Daybreaker:
- Bring your friends or make them (people are pretty friendly).
- Go to yoga. It’s harder to work out after work when you have been up since 6 a.m.
- Bring your own yoga mat.
If this is your first Daybreaker, I have some more tips for you here.

St. Patrick’s Day Entertainment:
One of the best parts of Daybreaker is the live entertainment. The MC sets the tone for the morning, the DJ brings in a mix of beats from EDM to hip hop and then special guests liven up the party in costume. I’m hoping to spot some leprechauns.
