Sometimes you need something smooth in the morning. Fall weekends are so refreshing because you don’t feel as bad staying in bed a little longer and perhaps changing brunch plans to breakfast in bed plans.
September is National Bourbon Heritage Month and I recently whipped up some pancakes and swapped Mimosas for Bourbon. I think my favorite part was having everything delivered from BigFish Spirits. My second favorite part was feeling confident making this dish. I love having people over but the thought of making food and cocktails can be intimidating. So, I keep it simple and good.

This fall I’m getting fall scented candles and fall flavored Bourbon. You can get your favorite fall flavored Iron Fish Distillery Bourbon Whiskey from BigFish Spirits! They are so kind and it feels nice to get a special package from them.
My friend and I couldn’t make it more than 5 minutes into The Good Place before taking another sip. Cheers to more cocktails and connections!
