Chicago is becoming a hot spot for TV show experiences. Last year, Friends debuted in Chicago, with fans getting goosebumps and even shedding tears as they walked on the re-created iconic set of one of the most notorious sitcoms. Now making its world premiere in Chicago on October 15 (through January 17th), The Office experience, provides the same level of detail to these unparalleled nostalgic experiences.

From the moment you walk into The Office Experience (540 M Michigan Ave on the Mag Mile), you will be transported to the world of Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. Literally, there are boxes of paper lining the warehouse shelves with a forklift. You start your journey or as it felt, your first day at the office at the “That’s What She Said” mural as you ride the escalator. You can immediately check-in. Foran upgrade, get your very own Dunder Mifflin employee badge. Felt very legit.
Photo Opportunities at The Office Experience

The Office interactive two-story experience features 17 rooms filled with original props and costumes, set re-creations and more as fans visit Scranton Business Park and other sites associated with the beloved series.

One of the best features is the interactive photo opps throughout the recreated Dunder Mifflin office. A fan favorite is sitting at Pam’s desk. When you sit down, there are even “love you” post-it notes to Jim. Throughout the set are iconic moments like Kevin’s Chili Spill and Beach Day.

Moreover, The Office Experience celebrates all the series’ major characters and will also commemorate,
among many other things, the Dundie Awards and Jim and Pam’s love story.

“We are delighted that Superfly X is presenting the world’s largest official interactive fan
experience based on the beloved series, The Office,” said Michael Silver, President of Global
Business Development for Universal Parks & Resorts. “Fans will not only relive memorable
episodes from the series but will themselves be able to participate in some of its most iconic moments..”

The best part is that you can experience a bit of the magic without tickets. If you just want to stop by, the first level is open to the public and has an on-site themed retail store replicating the Warehouse, featuring exclusive merchandise.
