It’s time to talk about money.
Though taxes were due last week, you can start preparing for them by diving right into better personal finance practices this week with Money Smart Week. Regardless of income, everyone is the manager or their own money.
Money Smart Week is a national program from April 18-25. The Chicago initiative was launched in 2002 by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. The program includes numerous events about how to handle money, how to manage a portfolio, and how to set and follow a budget to help you manage your funds more efficiently. It includes financial advice for kids, youth, young adults, parents, senior citizens and veterans.
But, if you want to attend a class, ask questions, and have a more interactive model, this week is your chance.
Below is a sampling of events throughout Chicago. For a full list of events, click here.
